BACKGROUND

  • Danone France created a new custard product, with a bi-layer of chocolate and fruit flavors, and required product experience testing.

INSIGHTS

  • In addition to a quantitative test, PRS IN VIVO supplemented with Emo’Live, a biometric bracelet for measuring emotional response.
  • The results provided insights into the experiential peaks, revealing that the recipe needed improvements to optimize the chocolate flavor.

OUTCOMES

  • The Danone R&D Team reformulated the recipe to optimize the flavor experience prior to a successful launch.
