Leveraging Big Data to Influence the Online Path-to-Purchase: A Case Study with Colgate-Palmolive

PRS IN VIVO is proud to announce that we were the runner-ups and finalists for the Insight Association's EXPLOR Awards, which were announced on October 22 as part of the CRC 2020 Event. The competition pits innovation leaders from academia, global corporations, and research agencies against one another to determine which case study yields the greatest impact and advances the insights process the most. A global, world-class team of judges selects the finalists.

In February 2020, Colgate needed to finalize their online strategy for their new smart toothbrush, Hum, to grow within the electric toothbrush category.

Our Clickstream Analytics, part of our OmniPath™ suite of services led by Vice President of Product Innovation, Ruben Nazario (pictured right), identified key moments for influencing consumers during the online path-to-purchase within the category to develop behavioral strategies with actionable steps for Hum to intercept shoppers during key moments of influence. 

The product was successfully launched a few months later.
